After signing the rental agreement Slotsferie Danmark will send a confirmation and a rental certificate to the tenant. At the same time, 25% of the rent falls due, as well as any cancellation insurance and handling charges. Due to Slotsferie Danmark's payment obligations to the owner, the balance must be received by Slotsferie Danmark 70 days prior to the start of the rental period.
If the accommodation is booked less than 70 days before the start of the rental period, the full amount shall be payable upon receipt of the rental certificate. In the event the full rent amount is not paid on time, SlotsferieDanmark can cancel the rental agreement without notice. If the accommodation is booked 24 hours before arrival, please contact Slotsferie Danmark in order to make sure that an order has been processed.
Electricity, heating and water
The rent is excl. electricity, heating, telephone, water, additional equipment etc. unless otherwise specified in the property description.
The rent is excl. rental of linen unless otherwise specified in the property description. A linen pack contains: bedding, a small and a large towel and tea towel.
The rent includes check-out cleaning fee on all accommodations.
GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS
Section 1. Rental certificate
The rental certificate confirms the rental agreement between the tenant and the owner, and Feriepartner Fyn (hereinafter referred to as FP) acting as agent between them. The rental agreement which is being entered into covers the specified vacation property with accompanying specifications.
Agreements between the tenant and FP which amend, modify or revoke these rental conditions shall be drawn up in writing in order to be valid. Such amendments shall not render the other provisions in the rental conditions invalid - neither individually nor as a whole.
Section 2. Participants/application
The vacation property may not be occupied or used by more people than the number stated in the catalogue and on the rental certificate, which also includes children (over 2 years).Pets are only allowed if stated on the rental certificate.
Section 3. Cleaning/responsibility
The tenant is contractually obligated to keep the premises clean, and at the end of the rental period shall leave them in a clean and tidy state. Inadequate cleaning upon check-out (as determined by the agent) will result in cleaning carried out at the tenant's expense. Check-out cleaning can be ordered at FP.
The tenant shall be responsible for everything present in the vacation property during the rental period. Should there be any damages, the tenant is obliged to inform FP about them immediately. Damages not reported before departure will be repaired at the expense of the tenant. Damages which occur during the rental period (see our insurance terms) must be remedied as soon as possible and must be reimbursed before departure. FP does not take out insurance to cover the tenant's person and property during the rental period.
Section 4. Payment conditions
On entering into the rental agreement, FP sends the tenant a confirmation and a rental certificate. At the same time, 25% of the rent falls due, as well as any cancellation insurance and handling charges. Due to FP's payment obligations to the owner, the balance must be received by FP 70 days prior to the start of the rental period. If the accommodation is booked less than 70 days before the start of the rental period, the full amount shall be payable upon receipt of the rental certificate. In the event the full amount is not paid on time, FP can cancel the rental agreement without warning.
All prices are excl. electricity, heating, telephone, water, additional equipment etc. These services are charged separately.
Section 5. Deposit
FP may charge a deposit which shall be payable with the second instalment payment. The deposit, which serves as security for the tenant's obligations, shall be returned no later than 2 weeks after departure, once an adequate inspection of the premises has taken place. Consumption of electricity, oil etc. may be offset in the deposit but must be settled upon departure.
Section 6. Complaints
If, contrary to expectation, there are any complaints regarding the rented vacation property, these must be reported in writing to FP's local office within 48 hours after check-in. Complaints in connection with cleaning must be reported to FP's local office as soon as possible after check-in. Otherwise the tenant shall be held liable for any faults or defects cf. Section 3.
Section 7. Cancellation
In the event that the rental agreement is cancelled more than 60 days prior to the commencement of the rental period, 20% of the gross rent shall be paid, however minimum DKK 500. If cancellation is made later than this, the entire amount shall be payable at 100%. In case of amendment of the tenancy less than 60 days prior to the commencement of the rental period, a fee of DKK 250 is charged. After that, the rental certificate may no longer be amended. In the event of cancellation or changes, any service charges shall not be repaid.
Section 8. Cancellation due to illness/insurance
We recommend purchasing a Vacation House Insurance or a cancellation insurance covering illness without excess. FP arranges the sale of these insurances, which are taken out with: Europæiske Rejseforsikring A/S Frederiksberg Alle 3DK-1790 Copenhagen V.
Insurance terms can be found on FP’s website www.holiday partner.dk and can be forwarded upon request. The premium is also shown on the website and in FP’s catalogue. In the event of cancellation, the insurance premium will not be paid back.
Section 9. Force majeure
The rental agreement may be cancelled by FP without notice due to force majeure, strike, epidemics or the like.
Section 10. The Association of Danish Holiday House Letters
FP is a member of the Association of Danish Holiday House Letters and naturally follows the code of ethics which applies to members of this association. Should problems arise regarding the tenancy that have not been resolved to the tenant's satisfaction, the tenant is entitled to bring this dispute before the Appeals Tribunal for the Association of Danish House Letters. Section 11. Typographical errors
FP disclaims any liability for any pictorial or typographic errors.
Section 12. Legal venue
The legal venue is the judicial district for the location of the vacation accommodation or the Court at Frederiksberg.
