Favsbjerg Naturhostel is 30 km. north of the Danish-German border. The site is surrounded by a 15 ha natural plot with forest, lakes and en open rural landscape, and is idyllically located in Southern Jutland between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Here there is plenty of opportunity to experience the forest's deep, quiet tranquility and a break from the busy everyday life.
The venue consists of serveral intriguing cabins:
The centre of the venue is an approx. 110 m2 large rustic cabin with plenty of space for approx. 50 dining guests. The cabin is fully equipped with tableware, cutlery, glasses, coffee machine and a corner bar. It is possible to rent a stereo and projektor from the house owner.
This cabin is right beside a small lake, where there is a couple of kayaks and life jackets available free of charge.
The kitchen area is in the neighbor cabin (35 m2) containing a kitchen with a pizza oven, a grill, a refrigerator, large working space, hot water and a wasingbasin. By request you can have a large grill and/or a wok oven outside the kitchen.
This property can accommodate 32 persons in 4 detached cabins each for 4 persons and 2 two-part cabins each for 8 persons.
All the cabins are in the clearing of the forest approx. 80 meters from the lake, and has beds with mattresses together with pillows and duvets (you have to bring the bed linen or rent it, when you make the booking). In addition, these cabins are without modern conveniences other than light.
The 4 modern bathrooms/toilets are in a detached building. The toilets are accessible for wheelchairs.
The 8.5 acres surrounding forest offers many possibilities for activities such as treasure hunts, orienteering races or just to take a walk.
At Favsbjerg Naturhostel you have the opportunity to buy additional services:
- to bring you own camper/caravan for the cost of DKK 500 pr. unit - max. 2 units per booking!
- Rent of wilderness bath for the cost of DKK 1,000 per day. Max 8 persons at a time.
